Fitget was designed primarily for me as a way to quickly access my daily calorie usage based on my activity level. Over the course of three months I managed to lose about 20 pounds thanks to the information Fitget provided me. I hope to add many improvements to Fitget over the course of the programs lifetime. To see currently planned improvements scroll down the page.
Fitget currently allows you to calculate in both US and Metric Systems:
- Lean Body Mass/Weight (Body Weight minus Body Fat)
- Basal Metabolic Rate or BMR (Energy expended while at rest)
- Calories Burned Daily (BMR + Energy expended based on activity level)
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- And a healthy weight range based on statistical models.
I hope that this tool can be of use to all of you. Please remember to review the application if you find that it is helpful.
FAQ:
Q: How do I know what my body fat percentage is? - An easy way to get that information is to purchase a scale with Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis. This will estimate your body fat percentage. Some gyms also use calipers to measure this for you. There are many ways to get this number, and Fitget version 1.1 will include a Body Fat Percentage calculator in addition to its current set of tools. This calculation like all of the calculations in the program are based on statistical models. They are accurate enough for the general population.
Planned Updates:
Version 1.0.2 is the next planned minor update. It will contain new visuals as well as help & instructions. In this update I would also like to introduce a new feature: A daily calorie meter. To monitor your calorie intake on a daily basis. More information on this update will become available over the next couple of weeks.
Version 1.1 is a planned major update that is still in the works. It will feature improvements in the visuals of the program as well as these additional features:
- Track Weight & Body Fat Percentage (Results will be stored for a useful period of time)
- Track Calorie Intake/Usage (Results will be stored for a useful period of time)
- Calculate Body Fat Percentage (Result will be an estimate based on statistical models)
- Tracking Results Will Be Graphed

It’s a very interesting programme. And it would be better to use it in metric system.
